I'm ordering: opty 165 box, asrock 939-sata2 board, 1GB kit Ballistix PC 4000.

Can I get an OC of 2.4 or 2.5 on the stock HSF?

Might want a modded BIOS for that... OCWorkBench.com has them I believe... Otherwise, don't see why not... Prolly cooling holding you back the most then... If you want decent stuff, buy yourself an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro... Great and not as expensive as Zalmans etc... Newegg has 'em...

the latest bios (1.50) from asrock goes as high as 274 mhz fsb. That wil give you 9x274=2466 mhz. OCWB1 bios will go as high as 400 mhz fsb.
the mobo vdimm goes as high as 2.71v and vcore to 1.45v.
make sure your rams do not require higher voltage.
there several voltmods out there that will give you 3.14v vdimm and 1.55v vcore.
Rebel's forum has a mod for vcore as high as 1.71v.

I'm at 2.7 with the stock cooler. A little warm under load (59C), but I'm just using the thermal interface that was on the cooler. I'm going to reinstall with some AS in the next week or two.
