OC noob here - RAM advice

I've got an E6300 CPU and will soon be in possession of a Gigabyte DS3. I'd like to OC my CPU to 3GHz - I'm not opposed to going higher, but I don't want to overdo it on my first CPU OC. I'd like solid advice on RAM to buy. Thanks.

3GHz on an E6300 will require DDR2 857.

The cheapest solution would be to get this and overclock it accordingly... it should do around DDR2 900.

They got me to 3.15 on my DS3 with original BIOS (haven't gotten around to flashing anything yet). They seem to have gone up in price, though there is a rebate...

G.Skill and Corsair are the only sets that are reasonably priced lately for the low end stuff. All the high end is about the same.

Pretty much any DDR2-800 will get the E6300 to 3 GHz.
