Oc my radeon 8500?

Just got my new system going, and ive got a radeon 8500dv 64mb ddr in it, and was wondering, how far will it oc with the stock HS/F on it? and whats the preferred utility for doing it?

😉 Util = RageTweaker although Rage3D should give you other useful tools.

😀 The 8500DV has lower clocks than a standard 8500 and IIRC is unlikely to o/c regardless of cooling or RAM chips used as the extra AIW-DV functionality makes timing issues critical and xomponents sensitive to any adjustments. It should do no harm to try, just raise the clocks slowly and test thoroughly. An 8500LE is usually clocked at 250/500 and often easily hits 275/550, the 8500 is usually clocked at 275/550 and can hit about 300/600 ... of course saying 'usually clocked at' around Radeon hw is pretty pointless but as guide ...
