I don't know much about OC'ing except how to OC my CPU, watch tempatures and what things are needed. What I don't know is ageing effect, how much to OC and if I have the capibilities I also don't know how to OC my Video Card.

I have my CPU OC'ed to 230mhz @ 2999 on my 3000+ 64-bit 754
And I'm running 60-70C

Now my graphics card is a 6600GT 8x AGP XFX I want to OC this a bit but how much and where?

Can anyone answer how much this would age my computer as well I dont want fried parts in less then a year.

First 60-70C is too hot for an Athlon64 IMO. What voltage are you running ? and what HSF ? Sounds like you need better cooling, and/or maybe a little less OC or volts.

60-70C is insanely hot for an A64 CPU. Is it a Winchester or Venice?

754...I'm assuming Winchester...but yeah, that is really hot! I'd beef up your cooling. Make sure that your case fans are blowing the right way as well and do what the others have suggested...turn it down a notch if you have cranked up the voltage.
