OC my Barton, no temp change in ASUS Probe and BIOS Menu

WHy is that? THe system is rock stable after 10 x 200 directly from stock speed (166 x 11?), then I went 10.5 x 200.

But the problem (?) is why the temperature doesn't change? It keeps 43 - 45C before and after overclocking.

Does this mean this chip is good? Or BIOS Menu and ASUS Probe is lying?

By the way, I didn't change the V-core voltage setting, I just left it as auto, that's default setting.

And also, there is one stick of 512 infineon 3200 ddr ram which runs 200 mgz too after overclock.

I am using the stock heatsink fan although I have the OCZ gladiator heatsink from my old A7V and thunderbird, as I am too lazy to replace that.

WOW, thanks for the lightning fast reply.

So should I set higher voltage or should I just keep it as it is stable now?

What's the difference if I change the voltage?

if you're fine with the speeds you are at now then by all means stick with default voltage. however, if you want to hit some higher speeds (i bet you are guarenteed for 2200 mhz with that chip) then raise the vcore! i'm sure many people on these boards will agree, raising voltage is not such a dangerous thing to do as long as you keep at or under 1.8V.
