Here is a pic of my recent OC

I just got a Corsair H50 and kind of rigged it differently then they suggested for better cooling. Two fans instead of one and the airflow going OUT instead of in as suggested by corsair. This is not a full test, I mean, this is only 10 minutes into prime95, I ran it for another hour or so after this pic, no errors. My temps decreased about 15 degrees from the SpinQ; SpinQ nice for Q9550, not for I7's.

My question is this: My memory, as noted in sig, is running at only 1140. In a previous OC at 185, I was able to get it to 1498 with no errors. My next option with THIS oc is something 155+. Is there something I am missing in my bios to change this, like we could in the past with ratio's and what not? If you would like more pics let me know. I have no problem with that.

Are the memory timings set to AUTO? you may need to set them manually. what speed and at what timings is the memory rated for? How it is in your sig? 7-7-7-20 @1500mhz is pretty steep for ram probably rated at 8-8-8-24 @ 1333...

edit: i see it's rated for 7-7-7-24. What's the voltage?

They are rated at 7-7-7-20, tops is 1.65. I am really concerned about the 1333 part. How do I change that, I mean, I know how to in the bios, but it only gives me a few options based on the ratio.... I would like to know how to change that ratio. Thanks though.

I'm not sure how to do it in your BIOS, but look for a "memory" or "DRAM" option that is set to "AUTO," and try and change it to manual...this may give you control over the ratio. Is the voltage set to "AUTO" as well?
