Hey all,
I had my "classic" athlon 800 running at 840 ok, pushed it up to 864 and the BIOS blew up. I get a BIOS ROM Checksum Error. I've set the FSB to 108...bios dies, I've set the FSB to 100 and the FSB PLus to 8...Bios also dies. I don't have a GFD on the cpu.
This is the second motherboard that this has happened on. I was able to restore the BIOS by flashing it, but does anyone know why the BIOS is blowing up so easily?
Thanks,
-NB
