How far can a PhII can get in OC.. so far mine is 3.44 and is running fine... wondering if i could boost it more... but is getting kinda hot in loads already... around 130F

I am using the old third party heatsink of my old PhI, of course is clean and so on.. and add it the compound around 2 rice grains of the liquid... this was a few hours ago.. dunno how much time it takes to this compound to settle in there lol...

Keep going and find out. :)

Mine will go a bit beyond 3.4GHz on stock voltage. 3.7GHz+ is fine and dandy if I want to pump the voltage into it. There's a ton of PhII overclocking info out there if you look...

hm... strange OCing... ok my procesor is at 3.44 air cooling.. runs a bit hot... stock voltage so far idle temp is 111F... and load is around 125 130.. or course this was a night test.. dunno how is going to perform under 80F or 90F enviroment temps...

my question is... the processor is at 3.44 and the gpu is is 787core, 965mem... OC too 4870x2... which one should i push more the gpu or the processor?

by the way 3 kelvins is amazing.. i wish there was a system that recycle that nitrogen and helium so there is no need of the 500 liters.

I've seen some overclocked their Phenom II's beyond 4Ghz on just air-cooling. With a more hardcore air cooler you should be able to push it pass 3.5 ghz. :)
