I have 2 6950, when i am not running them in crossfire is it possible to OC the 2nd gpu?
I did this using CCC when i had a 6950 and 4850 but now that they are the same gpu i am unable to oc it using CCC, and trixx doesn't sync them unless i have them crossfired. I think MSI afterburner might let me do this but its limit is 840mhz core clock and i am going for 900-950mhz

So i edited afterburners cfg and inserted the EULA line and now i can set it all the way to 1200mhz.

Why on earth have multi-gpu's not crossfired-bit coining? I don't really understand your question but yes you can overclock them when crossfired with ccc or afterburner and you've answered your own question.
