OC E6600 C2D w/ Intel XBX2KR question

I just bought an Intel XBX2KR MB and E6600 C2D. I assume this combo will oc to 3.2 or poss 3.4 gHz. Any thoughts. Also the memory is 2GB Corsair XMS2. This is my first new system in years. (last one was 450 Celeron with BH6 Abit back in the day).

Though I do not have the same board as you do, it is the same chipset (board is AW9D Max).
With my Corsair 6400C4 I run 4-4-4-12-22 @ 2.1V settings
And my e6600 overclocks to 3.3 Ghz on stock voltage.

Geez ocing has gain so much ground since then. That's a great result imo with stock voltage even. I also ordered a Tuniq cooler based on a recent review. Honestly, I'd be happy with at least 3.2GHz. BTW, I'm not too familiar with ram timings, I'll just read up on it the next couple of days.

Corsair is overpriced and it won't overclock at all.

Get yourself the world's best memory, G.SKill 2GBHZ 2 X 1GB 4-4-4-12 PC2-6400 or the Crucial Ballistix 4-4-4-12 (you can get it @ zipzoomfly.com for $245 after a $40 MIR)
