oc cel566 gets windows directory dissapear

this is incredible

when i oc my cel566 from 66 to 83mhz the windows directory dissapears, config.sys gets 5 lines corrupted and scandisk reports hundreds of errors (like win32.dll missing ) .

this happens only when i oc the cpu and raise the voltage to 1.75v

any ideas from the experts????

your running your pci bus out of spec (probably 83/2 = 41.5 pci)

try 100 or 95 with /3 pci divider.
