1st problem: I've managed to get into bios and disable the option that lowers the cpu clock and saves power but my programs aren't telling me so? ie--->

1 program is telling me I'm at the stock speed but the other is saying I'm at a x6 multiplier and at 2ghz! What's going on here?

2nd problem: I would like to OC my cpu to roughly 3.2 ghz but I can't figure out how to do it. I've tried raising the fsb from 333->400 but cpu-z shows no OC.

Any help is greatly appreciated

well, i see you disabled EIST (Enhanced Intel Speedstep Technology) but did you disable C1E (Enhanced Halt State) as well?

As for the second problem, I can't help you. Theoretically that is supposed to show 3.2GHz/2.4GHz (OC/EIST-C1E) but I don't know.

I've figured out the EISC thing but as far as OCing nothing seems to be working.. I keep the cpu clock ratio at 8 and raise the cpu host frequency from 333 to 400. Is this what I'm supposed to be doing? CPU-z doesnt show any move in clock speed but it does move my ram timings from 4-4-4-12 to 5-5-5-12.
