New to Overclocking and finally decided to OC my rig.
Here are the specs:
Antec P-180 case
P5n32-e sli
E6850 @ 3.0ghz
Zalman 9500A cooler
AS5 thermal compound
4gb of G.Skill DDR 200 PC6400 (2x1gb)
Evga 8800gt Oc'd to 679gpu 979mem
Evga 8600gt as physx
Sound Blaster X-fi Titanium Fatality Pro
Got the cpu OC'd to 3.51ghz
Mem clock Lynked on Sync mode
FSB 1560 Mem 780
Mem Timings: 5-5-5-15-20 2t
Vcore: 1.35v
Mem: 1.90v
1.2v HT: 1.30v
NB: 1.35v
SB: 1.50v
CPU VTT: 1.55v
Ran Orthos for over 1 hour on Blend for preliminary tests. Will do overnight test this evening.
Temps Idle: 38c Load: 61c on CoreTemp
I'm trying to keep my voltage as low as I can, is there anywhere I can shave off some voltage safely?
Also need advice on the memory timings, would like to get it 1t, any suggestions?
Also tried to get it up to 3.6ghz with vcore 1.37 and the rest of the voltages remained the same as above,
but Orthos would lock up the system 1-2 mins into Blend test.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
