Ok i know its still early but my test been running for about 3 hours now my room temp is about 21C which is 71F. Now i been playing with my OC a bit and i have it set at 360 FSB with a muil. of 10 it was at 11X319 which gave me a 3.5 So i'm just trying to get at 3.6 so far so good the test been running just fine but my question s i have is that my Motherboard temp is at about 46C which is 113F this is all under full load and my CPU temps are running at about 52 to 53 C under full load i'm using water cooling. Are all these temps ok or should i be getting worry about these temps. Aslo let me mention the test i'm running is ORTHOS. Also i have the lastest BIO of F7 for my MB and i left the volts set at AUTO when i change it to Manual the BIO says warning the volts are not optimize so of course being kind of new i set it at auto. and also set my timing for my memory myself 4-4-4-12. I hope this si enough info to help me out. You can look at my SIG below to see what i'm using. Thanks

looks good.

your temps are fine. i have a tuniq tower and run 68C's full load on prime at 1.45 volts.

you can go ahead and adjust the voltage to 1.4 or whatever else you want. though not "optimized" it'll run fine.

also for your mem timings 4-4-4-12 should be fine. what is your memory rated for? pc6400? pc8000? etc...

should i set it to manual to 1.4 for my voltage instead of optimize.. Also what kind of OC should i get from my system i know this is a hard question to answer but 3.6 is that a pretty good OC or should i be able to get more. i found out i have a CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel. what ahould i be runnig my timing at.

i'm not sure how good that ram is but since you are running way under 400, you could try 4-4-3 or 4-3-3 but be sure to test stability.

but since you have a 6800, my guess is your chip should EASILY do over 3.6 ghz with no problem.

your board is good in that it can run higher fsb's so i'd actually try to drop the mult from 11x to 9x

then you could run 9 x 400 = 3600 and have your mem running 1:1 which would put you right at ddr800.

my guess is your chip should be able to do this anywhere between default voltage and 1.45 (or even lower).

What i did for the heck of it i try going to 10 mult and put my FSB at 370 to make it a 3.7 but i ran the stress test after about 20 secs it stopped i'm kinda stuck at this point if i want to try to go any higher than 3.6, any advice would be great i was wrong on my timing i'm at 5-5-5-12 for timing thats the stock for my ram, should i try to lower it to 4-4-4-12?? but i'm not to sure what the timing all about still learning it would this make my OC harder if i lowered it or easier? Also my CPU volts are at 1.4 but not to sure what to do at this point?

Just a quick update on what i have done..... Ok here where i'm stuck at right now i'm running at 3.6 stable now i been trying to get it higher but can't seem to do it. it seems like i try everything but maybe you people can help me out these are my setting right now. I'm running at a mult of 10 at 360 FSB to get me my 3.6. now i try to raise it to 370 it boots into windows just fine but when i run a stress test its stops after about 5 secs. now i try to reboot using these settings at FSB of 370 and the mult at 10 and have my CPU volts at 1.4 and i did +1 on MCH and did +1 on FSB OC volatage and i didn't touch my DDR2 overvolatge control at all wasn't to sure about that one( is it safe to bump that one to +1 also?) i have my mem. timing set at 5-5-5-12 which is stock. now by switching it to like 4-4-4-12 will that help me OC at all? this is where i don't understand to much of. What can i do to get my CPU speed higher i am using water cooling and i run at about 52 to 53 under full load. see SIG below for my other hardware i use andyes i have the F7 BIO which is the lastest. Thanks

try boosting your vcore from 1.4 to 1.45. you might be starting to hit the limits of the chip.

what's your vdimm at?

you should be safe bumping it up 0.1 volts on the vdimm.
