I have OC my 955BE to 3.83ghz with a voltage of 1.38/1.39 on load. The voltage when it is idling is about 1.42 sometimes a little less. Not sure why the voltage changes from idle to load but it works well. Done all the overclocking in the BIOS. All I did was up the bus speed to 239, left the multiplier at X16 and left the HT link speed at 1918mhz. Changed the bus speed instead of the multiplier so my RAM got overclocked at the same time to 1600mhz.
Question is does all this look good? I've ran Prime95 for 24 hours on blend torture test with no errors or warnings. Temp is about 31 idle and most it reached in Prime95 was 49. So it seems very stable.
Also, with my RAM which is 8GB of Corsair XMS3 it says its running at 799mhz in CPU-Z. I left it just below 800mhz to keep the voltage the same. Is this RAM frequency correct? Do you just double the number so it'll be running at 1598mhz? In the timings table on CPU-Z it says each module is running at different frequencies from 444mhz to 800mhz. Does this relate to each RAM module?
Cheers in advance guys, just want to be sure and understand it all a little better.
