Has anyoen ever oc'ed a 800duron w/o unlocking multiplier? i mean..the default setting is at 100x8=800. so...if i change the fsb to 133mhz, wouldn't i get 133x8=1064? or do i still need to boost up the voltage?

Youd need a KT133A-based motherboard such as the Abit KT7A Raid, IWILL KK266-R etc to run the FSB that high. Youd probobly still need to bump the voltage up and get good cooling also.

The mobo would be the new MSI k7t266Pro-Raid and the HSF would be Taisol (the one that supports upto 1.2ghz).

If your processor will handle that, that's great and it will work, but you're not guaranteed that it will run that fast.

i have a duron 800 thats not unlocked had it at 133-33x8 but pc gave me some errors so now its at 120-40x8. in all cases you will need to up the volts and have good cooling
