going to oc my system
athlonXP2500+ burton(not mobile) to 3200+ at 200*11.0 on Abit NF7-S rev2.0.
question: is it good to oc my system under retail headsink and fans? if it's not, any good cooling system suggest? also any good and cheap memory suggest (of course 2 sticks of 512mb pc3200 wanted)?

Yes, you can OC w/retail HS+F. It is, of course, a matter of cooling. If ur chip needs a lot more voltage to stably reach higher speeds, you may find the stock HSF to be insufficient for cooling at the higher voltage.

Some have been fortunate and achieved 3200 speeds on stock voltage, in which case the stock HSF is fine.

If you already have the stock HSF, use it. d/l nd run Motherboard Monitor 5 to keep an eye on temps while OCing. If the temps get too high (because you had to raise voltage, called vcore, for the cpu), then you'll have to increase cooling to continue with a higher OC.

Case cooling and ambient temps are also important factors. My pc sits in an unheated/non ac'd room at home. In the winter, I can raise the vcore to very high levels while still keeping the cpu cool, in the summer it's the opposite, of course.

EDIT: For ram, go here and search. There has been some mentioned that just don't work well with the nf7 series. Someone just posted the very ?, see the recomendations posted.

my cpu is at 45C(idle) and 57C(load) temp now, i expect 10 more degrees increased if i oc it to 3200+. that's why i want a new cooling system.
thanks for u link of ram anyway.
