Celestron Logic Motor Drive

Celestron (Telescope Accessories):
Outpost #: C4366
The Celestron Logic Drive attaches to your Celestron Firstscope 80EQ or 114 Premium telescope mount. This motor drive allows you to track the stars in the sky! Uses a 9 volt battery (not included).

...that is if you need this thing, anyway... ;)

Since they probably won't honor it (hell, does anyone really want them to honor it? I don't need a telescope thinger...), any chance of getting a GC out of it? Not too familiar with Outpost's policies.

Dont know what it is, but just ordered one... How much would it normally go for? Ordered it on my credit card, just so i could dispute it if they somehow changed the price... since I dont think my visa/checkcard will dispute...

I am sure some people on here already post an auction for these!!! LOL
If these do ship there will be about 300 more for sale on ebay you would be lucky to get $5 for them

<<

<< why even post this crap? >>

Because someone may actually need it.

But it's not going to come, so it doesn't matter. Why don't people, when they find "deals" like this, order one and wait to see what happens, then post it after they know the outcome? Heck, that way you'll even have a better chance of getting something yourself if it is a misprint...

I think it's because of the myriad of rich possibilities:
 1. It goes through - Ferengi happy
 2. It doesn't go through, but they give some sort of compensation to all the looters, er I mean shoppers anyway
 3. It doesn't go through, Ferengi are empty handed but some lawyer types who know other lawyer types will be putting together the class action lawsuit in near future, they look forward to their vindication

If this was a LCD monitor or something like that I would never post it on here but this is just a crappy motor for a telescope!!! Buy the way I did find a mis priced 15" lcd monitor for $39.95 today at a web site today I ordered all 8 they had left. I hope they come but I would never post it on here.

We followed your link to this item back to this forum.

Our policy clearly states we do not honor pricing errors.

We will be updating the site to reflect the correct price of $49.95.

Orders will be shipped using the correct pricing.

Sorry for any confusion.

If you would like to contact Outpost.com please call 1 877 OUTPOST or email service@Outpost.com

:Q This is a BIG NO-NO, Outpostdotcom. People will dispute your charges with their CC companies and will get these drives for free. You can't show one price and charge another.

...if you are from Outpost anyway.

It might not be outpost.com posting, but you can tell where someone came from when they link through as with the link given in 1st post.
