God I miss the old Voodoo days. Not only was the gaming great back then, but the 3dfx community was huge.

I'll never forget the first time I ran Quake on my Intergraph Intense 3d Voodoo rush.. :)

I rememebr my first Voodoo experience. I bought a Voodoo 1 to play Q2. Then bought a Voodoo 2 couple of months later. MAn it rocked. But then i got into GeForce 1 DDR. And been stuck there up until this day

Could someone equate the performance of 4 of those to a card of today? Is it on par with like a geforce 2?

I've read that the Voodoo 5 6000 is about on par with a GF3 Ti, if that helps any.

I still have my Diamond Monster 3d, 4mb pci "add-in" 3d card. That thing rocked. It came with special 3d enhanced mechwarrior 2 & tomb raider and a few others. Definitely an incredible piece of hardware for it's time!

cool ... I once had a Quantum Raven and an X-24 in my rig.

Edmundoab, I think Quantum made an AGP Voodoo2 ... is that one of the hardest 3dfx cards to find now?

... awesome hobby man!

There's only a scant few who would value this card above a 6800GT; the other (sane) portion of the population would take the 6800GT any day of the week and twice on Sunday ;) .

As long as you have the luxury to invest on such things I don't see anything wrong with it.
But investing on this stuff sacrificing the budget for new hardware is beyond my imagination....
