I have a problem with a Quantum 3D Obsidian 2 card I bought (It uses twin voodoo2 12meg cards on the one PCB. It uses 1 PCI slot to run. Quantum 3D are the guys that were meant to handle the Voodoo 5 6000 production). I cannot get it to work properly. Some games recognise it yet they have trouble using it (Such as Unreal Tournament). On every second bootup I get no windows GUI and on a normal boot up I get - _GlideInitEnvironment: glide2x.dll expected Voodoo, none detected

That comes up in a box and I just hit ok.

I think it might be a problem with the GeForce 2 GTS I am also running.

I have an 815e chipset w/P3 866, 256MB RAM, GeForce 2 GTS, Sb Live!, SMC 1211TX network card, Seagate 30GB 7200 HD, Pioneer 105F DVD Drive, and LG 795SC Monitor. I am using the latest drivers for everything. Intel Drivers for 815e, Detonator 12.00 WHQL for the GF2 and the latest Quantum 3D drivers for the Obsidian 2 (5.5P).

Most probably think I am weird using this card when I have a GF2 GTS but I like to play older games and most only have glide support for 3D.

OS is Win98se

When it says "none detected", did you happen to notice if the BIOS detected the card? Also, what PCI slots are you using for what device?
