My alarm this morning woke up with "Sponge - Plowed" playing on the radio. I didn't know it was called that at the time, but google told me. I really liked this song and wonder what else I'm forgetting. What are some other obscure 90's hits that didn't come from huge bands?

Pretty much all of popular radio ~1997/8

That's pretty much when more 'girl appealing' music started to come onto the scene and it was a transition period for music. You get bands like The Cardigans, etc, etc, and they die off pretty quickly.

There were several good songs on that Collective Soul album. Good CD.

"Lucky" by Seven Mary Three, too.
