WTF are you talking about? Do you even know what an oblong is? It's a friggen rectangle! Those buttons are round!

Uh, not its not. Oblong means misshapenly stretched, it doesn't have to be a specific shape, although its most commonly used when talking about an ovalish shaped object.

He's right dude. It's really not an alternative usage. It is rather surprising you've never come across it except in reference to rectangles. In fact, I don't think I've ever come across it in reference to rectangles, but I quit math at pre-calc so there's that...

im still in math (partial diff. equations next semester) and ive never heard of it used in reference to rectangles

like the wikipedia article says, this term is no longer commonly used to refer to rectangles. I've never heard of it used like that either.

I have always thought of oblong as a stretched shape, oblong box anyone?

Anyways I love my controller duke, put on a usb plug and it makes a great pc controller. It fits my hands nicely and has a good weight to it.
