Argh! I dont even remember what I did to spark the chase... But I resisted arrest as always and ran away. Usually when I run far enough the "chase music" goes away and Im ok. Of course when I come aroudn them again they will run up and try to arrest me again.

Well, this time when I resisted arrest and ran the "chase music" never stopped. So I was never safe. Every time a guard sees me he attacks me, theres no options or anything. I ran arond until midnight and paid the black guy at the imperial city docks and it made my bounty 0, but the chase music still did not stop! And the guards keep coming! Without options to pay fines or anything. Its like one giant chase where I have no options.

This is clearly a glitch... Is there any way around it? Remember im on X360

Thanks. This stinks.

There's a method to let them not kill you and still have an option to be arrested..by raising up your shield and try to talk to them at the same time. And HOPE that they will yield your surrender.

The guards will always take your yeild, block and talk to them. Pay the bounty and that should take care of it!

yeah. I've had guards continue the chase after I paid bounty and this got them off my back.

What's fun is to get on the rooftops in a city and start picking people off with your bow (I played a more or less assassin class character, a few enchanted items gave me a constant ~70% chameleon, combined with a good sneak and marksman skill), I'd just run around hidden and pour arrows into people. Good fun, and the guards never stop coming. They are tough, though, and take a few good sneak attacks with an arrow before they fall.
