Oblivion - Whats the max bounty youve had?

I decided yesterday it would be fun to kill every NPC i can in oblivion, so far ive wiped out two small villages, and that town of hackdirt, bretheren included. I also killed everyone i could in chorrel then went to jail deliberately, broke out and killed everyone in the castle too. I got a bounty of 30k now 🙂 and thats only for the kills they know about lol.

Whats your max bounty? Have you managed to kill every NPC in the game? except the unconcious type unkillable ones.

about every 3 days

go into Rockmilk cave instead [it is generally the 'richest' place to loot] and kill everyone . . . come back in three days for another huge haul and kill everyone all over again 😛

Maxx had over 8 million when he 'retired'
[1,016 hours before playing the mods . . . Level 92 w/o cheats]

EDIT: take care that you do not kill someone 'important' to a future quest . . . they do not respawn.

8 million? Damn.... 1016 hours thats 42.3 days of pure killing NPCs. Reminds me of the high level guy in the latest south park episode "Make love not warcraft"

Ive got a save from before my killing spree started, so i can dispense indiscriminate justice on those important NPC's 🙂 Havent found rockmilk cave yet, havent actually done too much exploring outside of the major towns.

Ive found aleswell and hackdirt and someplace south of cloud fort place. First time i went to aleswell was pretty funny, i said i would help them become visible and the towns people were all like "yaaay thank you!" so i see this loaf of bread on the table, (didnt know what the red hand meant at this point) so i pick it up thinking i should eat somthing before undertaking my quest.... bad idea... the townsfolk all go CRAZY, they all surround me and yell "THEIF!" "BURGLAR!" and while they still encircle me they start calling me names like "you dirty lil filcher!!" im like wtf? its a loaf of bread! im helping you with the evil wizard, jeez chill! They didnt move away so i smacked the elf to make him shut up and respect my authority, and he runs off screaming "ASSAULT!! ASSAULT!!" and i end up in jail 5 mins later.... Thats the last time i try to be helpful! lol, my killing spree started shortly after this event.

oh no . . . i did *everything* in those 1016 hours . . . every Quest, every guild, every place found and at least 88 unique Oblivion Gates closed . . . all abilities maxed.

the killing spree was just a *sideline* after the 1016 hours when i started to play the user created content mods 😛

Oblivion is an awesome game that gives you incredible freedom to pick 'who' and 'where' and 'when' . . . i am SO looking forward to the Expansion.

I had 30,000 and I thought that was high. Guess not.
Got caught stealing and didnt want to lose the time or goodies, so I elected to resist arrest. Tried to run but too many guards attacked me. Ended up using a large area spell and killed bunches of guards and civilians.

Decided it was better to reload my last autosave.

EDIT: On my first game, I got sucked into the world of homocide and did the assassin quests first. Never got a bounty with those. I was always low profile with them.

The times I got bounties was when I was cat-burglering. Too dumb to take off my shoes and keep a Detect Life up. If I didnt feel like dealing with the authorities I would make a break for it.

my bounty got as high as 400k+ I have a few SS around here somewhere, ill try to find them.
