I'm using the new 'Oblivion' forcewares (84.21) with the Tweaks-R-Us hacks. My 7800gt is running at stock clocks. My CPU is however a 3000+ @ 2.63GHz, but I don't think this could cause the following:

I haven't touched any of the water values in the ini but I have changed the distance stuff, as can be seen from my fraps fps.. heh

Has anyone else experienced this? It's really annoying as I can't (won't) play any further until I get this fixed :(

We don't need no water let the mother...

sorry.

Why not try with the CPU at its intended speed first?

Overclocking a CPU has nothing to do with this.

That's your problem - some of the tweaks being posted around the net are causing issues with dissapearing water and screwy reflections. Restore your .ini file to the default and you should be all set.

I second that, it is the .ini tweak that is doing that, Hopefully a patch will allow us those of you with monster rigs to have your pretty terrain and water too.

So with 81.25 forceware drivers, and a monster rig, are the .ini tweaks necessary?

* Edit* oops, I did mean the 84.25, downloaded them today. Thanks for the link!
