I read that if you have 1GB or 2GB of memory to make this change, from

iPreloadSizeLimit=26214400

to

iPreloadSizeLimit=1073741824

But then at Megagames I was reading, this article:

And it was saying to put the setting on this:

iPreloadSizeLimit=104857600

What's the thought here?, because I have 2GB of memory.

I also increased the preload size limit to 512mb along with other tweaks - it caused a mem leak-type error after five or so hours of play so I reverted the .ini to the original. Can't have it all I guess.

Oblivion preloads everything on the fly. The only thing I've noticed with the iPreloadSizeLimit is increased load times. After you run across the hill the benefit is gone. The long load will also come next time you exit an interior area. All in all it wasn't worth using for me. I've heard that others prefer it, so your results mayvery.
