Oblivion Hardware Tweak

Well, as many of you guys here may know, I have an ATI AIW Radeon 8500DV 64MB.

My friend happened to have Oblivion and I wanted to borrow it because I wanted to play it (duh). Also, when I heard that he had Oblivion, I remembered a thread on the forums about being able to play Oblivion in "DX8.1 mode" so you could play it with low-end cards.

Could somebody link me to this tweak? I can't remember the name of the thread or whether it was a tweak or a mod or something.

*Please don't badger me for trying to play! I wish I could turn on the eye candy but I just can't. I'm more intrigued with the gameplay than graphics (Wii, anyone?). I play BF2 on low settings and I can still own! LOL...*
