he's grossing about $60K a day, since Monday May 2.

"The rush for merchandise celebrating the killing of Osama Bin Laden has seen one young entrepreneur make $120,000 in less than two days.

Maurice Harary, 23, set up his T-shirt website Osamadeadtees.com as soon as he heard that the former Al Qaeda leader had been shot by U.S. Navy Seals on Sunday night.

The New Yorker raced home to his apartment to work on building the website on Sunday night and it was ready to go live at 3.30am on Monday morning."

It's too early for an IPO, but at least he'll be able to pay his rent.

There's a screen printer down the street from our shop, they had a shirt that said "Mission Accomplished" with Osama's pics below it, and the word "DEAD" below, they had those on the street for sale by 10AM the next day.

That is just awesome. If he spends wisely, he has a much easier life ahead of him due to this nice influx of cash.

I'm jealous, not going to lie.

I just don't understand why people are so giddy over his death. I can understand being quietly happy or glad about it the way Obama probably feels, but giddy?

I'm glad he's dead, but it's not as though we won some sort of a great victory. He pretty much kicked our asses in terms of the number of Americans his organization killed and the huge amount of economic and social damage it inflicted.

It reminds me of a first person shooter game where you get killed by someone 20 times and then you get lucky and kill him once and start talking it up. You had your ass kicked 20-1. Uh, yeah, "congrats".

I really don't think there's anything to celebrate. I think people should be glad that he's dead, but I don't see how that's worthy of a celebration when you consider the score. The public celebrations and t-shirts strike me as being silly.

That's not what this thread is about. Take it to P&N

Kind of in bad taste in my opinion, but a perfect opportunity to make some money. Well played, sir.

Such an obvious and simple idea -- DAMN IT! Why didn't I think of it?!?!

Not quite as easy as it sounds. I'm guessing this guy already had some sort of t-shirt business. I'm wondering if he made the designs or just got them from somewhere?

I more or less agree with this. There's a little bit more bloodthirst than I would like to see in all of this.

The design is the hard part. I don't think selling T-shirts is that hard; I have a friend that sells them on his site. I think there are companies that do all the work and you just provide the design, pay them their share, and link to their ordering system.

I told my wife that maybe I should get some Mullah Omar T-shirts ready for when we bag him. :D
