Post your Objective from your resume.

My way of asking for help refining mine.

My experience has given me the skills necessary to manage a network ensuring availability. Refined Interpersonal skills enabling me to ensure the highest in users support.

My goal is to own every company that DOESN'T hire me in the next 10 years and FIRE each and every one of the hiring personel at them...that and play around with the pretty colored wires 🙂

My writing for Professionals prof. said to just list the Job Description.

ie: Network Administrator

ie: Information Technology Manager

ie: Chief Information Officer:beer:

Take it out. Useless IMO. Nobody looks at it because 99% of the time it's 2 lines of BS.

Well, its good to have in there in case the HS-graduate secretary drops the sorted folders and they don't remember which job you were applying for.

But, yeah, don't get carried away with it.

What is the procedure on sending the resume too?

Most send it in word format...

Would it be negative to send it PDF?

Well I guess it is better than saying... I can talk to a user without reaching for their neck and strangling them like a chicken, anymore.

I always thought if/when I get around to writing a resume something like - To still enjoy learning.

It's up to them. Try emailing them.

hmmm is that your objective on your resume or cover letter? It's ok on cover letter but resume, you stick to the point (include job/position).

Is this better?

To utilize my (network management)(<--???) expertise in an organization to achieve their strategic goal.

I haven't ever used one and it hasn't been a big deal. Also, if I email a copy, I always send both .doc & .pdf, just to be on the safe side. Honestly, though, your resume is a nice formality for the interview -- that's what counts.

How is this?

To utilize my network management expertise in an organization to achieve their strategic goal while ensuring high user support satisfaction.

I think any of those are fine, still don't know what position it is (prolly network management). If you wish you can write a cover letter highlighting points on your resume and providing a little background on yourself. (2-3 paragraphs and signed)

I've never used one. However if you want to use an objective I've seen people simply say "Objective: Prospective Job Title" and be through with it.
