I am looking for a Windows 7 dock or quick launch application.

It does not need to imitate a Mac or jump around with crazy animations. It does not need to have widgets, but I'd look into them if it did. It'd be nice if it were relatively light on resources.

I will use it to launch applications, data files, and open directories of files. I will probably use multiple docks (2-3?), and the idea of tabbed docks sounds great. It will not replace the Start Menu or Taskbar. It would also be cool if instead of the full icon it would just show the filename or small icon+filename.

And I'd be willing to pay $20-25 if it came to it.

I am currently running Winstep Nexus Free and it seems to take up 6% of my CPU. That seems high, but maybe I should just get used to it. Looking at Fences also, but don't know what to make of it yet.

Does anyone have recommendations?

On Vista, I used both ObjectDock, and RocketDock. I used both because the free version of ObjectDock didn't allow more than one instance. For functionality, I don't have a strong preference, but RocketDock wins due to the CC licensing.

Switched off auto hide and icon zoom with ObjectDock and am already liking it more.
