Object Desktop from Stardock any good??

I was just wondering if this thing eats up system memory if it will make my system unstable? It looks really cool and then I won't have to look at the boring windows interface anymore.

Object Desktop is a lot of programs.

WindowsBlinds - I don't have this one enabled on my computer anymore.. Just for the fact that it doesn't have the AIM windows flash, and it gets a little annoying

DesktopX - It's great, better than LiteStep, easy to configure and make your own desktop theme.

IconPackager - Great too. Love the futuristic icons rather than the normal/standard Windows icons

and I think there may be a few more programs that will make your Windows expierence a litter "prettier" Not worth $50, more like 30 minutes of downloading and searching for a serial number
