Obihai ( Obi 100 series,Obi 200 series) possible new fee for Google Voice User

I was looking up some information about my Obi 202 device and saw this post at DSL Reports mentioning something about a $10 yearly fee to enable Google Voice (GV) configuration.

This appears to be Obihai trying to get the OP on this forum to purchase Premium Tech Support for his out of warranty Obihai adapter.

I switched from Phone Power back to Google Voice just a few weeks ago. I had been with Phone Power for 1 year when Obihai keep insisting that last May Google Voice was no longer going to support their protocol, which turned out to be not true.

When I switched back to Google Voice Obihai updated my Obi100's firmware; no charges, no charges to switch back, and no mention of any charges to purchase Premium Tech Support for my out of warranty Obi100 adapter.

Nowhere on www.obitalk.com does it list this.

In fact it clearly advertises "no hidden fees"

So false advertising?
