Amazing that my Obi200 voip adapter is still working free with Google Voice and my 15 year old Panasonic cordless phones. For how long?? End of Life Notice for Obitalk I first started using Google Voice with an Obi100 in 2011, then upgraded to a 200. I still see the Obi/Polycom adapters for sale, but since the Obitalk Cosumer Portal has been down since 10/31/24 there is no support for these adapters. Using Google Voice With OBiTALK Devices After 10/31/2024

Very doubtful that this will work, but if you have an Obi/Polycom adapter that's not working with Google Voice you can try a firmware update. OBI 20x latest firmware or 3rd party firmware. To find out what firmware version you have first log in to your router to get the IP address of your adapter If you can dial out, you can also dial ***1 to obtain it. I have a TP Link router and I found it under Advanced-Network-DHCP Server-DHCP Client List-Assigned IP Address-Obi200-192.168.0.167.
I entered 192.168.0.167 and logged in to to my Obi200 with the default login admin, password: admin. You can change the password. My firmware version is 3.2.2 (Build: 8680EX). This I believe was the last available firmware version for the Obi200. You can update the firmware from here under System Management. Can you use the Setup Wizard to get a new/used Obi/Polycom adapter up and running, again very doubtful??

For a price, you can also port your GV# out to a VOIP carrier. Google Voice Support
