Unless they missed the midterm and the weren't allowed to retake the tests I can't see how protesting for a few weeks makes you fail a college class. Unless this school grades mostly on homework and attendance or something...

For those who doubt that liberalism is a mental illness that is dragging society down into the gutter, just a little reminder...

Read it and weep. Or die laughing your asses off. I can't make up my mind. This op ed is so hilarious and pathetic at the same time...

Edit: sorry, didn't see the link in the other thread. Just noticed it now.

Nevertheless, the article deserves to be in two threads...:)

Good for Oberlin. Frankly, I'm surprised they didn't act like many other bastions of liberal stupidity and cave in to these idiots and their whining.

Now let's see if the brats sue the school and get some lib judge to demand that the school comply with their wishes.

As stupid as that sounds, you're probably right, such things have happened and surely will happen again. :(

Even better is what happened at Kent State. I just love it when arrogant little socially conscious pricks are ground into the dirt. I had to work so hard and sacrifice so much to get where I am. Look at me Daddy, I'm a good boy. You can't make fun of little Moonbeam any more Daddy, because I'm the Daddy now. I'm just like you, you fucking prick.

You mean we don't get college credit for demonstrating and rioting? WTF!?! Isn't that what college is all about? (well, that and Jello shots)

Wow, comparing the Kent State shootings to this? You really had to make some huge leaps of "logic" for this, didn't you? :D

I just wanted to emphasize what leaps of logic look like. When I read that the students were turned down my reactions was that would be what one would expect. I didn't feel any need to whip my dick out of my pants and thump my imbecilic ego-drum with it. The comments of a number of the posters who came before me were quite psychotic, full of venom, vituperation, and spite. Such pathetic reactions are disgusting so I thought they should see what they look like.

What did you want me to read in the article? My bet is that if I go out to save the world and leave behind a house full of kids, social services will be by to take them away. I don't get to run a red light because I'm in a hurry to donate at my favorite charity. I also don't have to squat and shit so I can fling poo at every young starry eyed idealist who thinks good deeds slop over to protect him or her from other responsibilities. You make choices and some of them come at a price. Why is it that every time some human somewhere shows the foibles of the flesh, a bunch of conservative showflakes who think their shit doesn't stink have to climb on their soapboxes and proclaim to one and all how superior they are to other people. Successful rational people aren't impelled to do that.

What does this have to do with liberals?
