Hats are so reticent. Who knows how long it might take to convince a hat to divulge its religion?

I understand and accept his (political) decision, though personally I could not care less whether he visits it or not, or whether he had to wear a hat (or a turban, or a tuba, or a tuna) on his head to do so. I bet though that a lot of Indians would not agree that the Sikh religion represents all Indian religions.

I'm sorry for what you've had to deal with, but for my part the Sikh's I have dealt with have been among the most honorable I have known.

Regarding Obama, I'm afraid that is precisely what would happen if he wore the traditional headdress. I think the scarf in the pic in thread would be OK, but who knows.
