It's hard to see how it could possibly be "green," though at least if they give it a hybrid drivetrain it will presumably get very respectable mileage for such a behemoth.

"Ride" means, he DROVE it. Which is bullshit. He absolutely did not drive it. In fact, I saw, and remember many times seeing/hearing people comment about him riding in standard SUV's all throughout the campaign.

He may have owned an Escape, but it was sitting in his garage, it certainly wasn't being driven much by him or his wife.
