Obama is no saint, but I'm curious how you would rationalize this into somehow excusing Trump. At least Obama was trying to do a good thing instead of killing elephants or removing national parks for liberal tears.

Not Obama alone, all of NATO combined to topple Gaddafi. I believe that Libya was the richest per capita country in Africa pre-war, it's GNP is now less than half what it was under Gaddafi and shrinking every year. On the failed state index, it is in neighborhood of Zimbabwe.
