super funny Looks like he knows a little bit more about the net then the current FCC chair, who just blamed WoW for the college drop out rate and takes talking points from Clear Channel on the XM-Sirius merger.

I'm definitely looking forward to a more tech-savvy administration, seems to be a pretty big priority for Obama.

A net neutrality bill will probably get sent through Congress in 2009 as well.

Good news for geeks like us.

Not a WoW player, but very impressed by Obama's techie appointments. Looks like we'll for the first time have a real internet & technology policy...yet another area we've made no real progress in over the past 8 years.

You have to be very stupid to draw that conclusion. I assume you aren't that stupid so that leaves your just an asshole.

is this a good thing or bad? I have always equated WoW fans with the same tools that liked Dungeons and Dragons.

They aren't. WoW players are the tools that drink Bawls and rice out Mitsubishis.

I sure hope he's more compentent than your average WoW player who has no skills other than playing a stupid game and is generally confined to his parent's basement.

I'm thinking when Obama said 'Change we can believe in' he REALLY meant 'Change with makebelieve'.. WoW would certainly qualify there.. I'll proudly wear the asshole badge.. lol

I saw people drop out from playing Diablo II, Everquest, Quake and doom. I'm sure that people dropped out because of pong, beer, music, drugs, sex and babies.

Hey, wait, people have been dropping out for decades for many reasons. Perhaps dropping out is a personal choice related to motivation and not to the byproduct of lack of motivation.

I knew a guy on my floor that skipped a night math exam so he could play Starcraft. He got a 0.0 that semester and was living in a trailer the next.
