MSNBC just called it for Obama. He has 35 percent now, and Edwards and Hilary have about 32 percent each.
Congrats Barak.
How will you deal when someone comes out and claims you sold them drugs?
Anyway, Hilary needs a win, or at least an Obama loss in NH.
As to South Carolina for the Dems, its up in the air.

There's an Iowa caucus thread already. Please use it.

bad news for edwards that he couldn't pull a victory after 9 years of campaigning... it doesn't bode well for his chances in other states, where Hill and Barak have already spent more time in.

good news for Obama, but I'm sure the Clinton camp will try and frame it as a 3-way tie, which it more or less is, at least compared to the republican vote counts.

Yeah, Edwards is fading. I wonder how Edwards supporters would break if he dropped out after South Carolina?

Its more of the case that Obama and Edwards need to not only win Iowa, but either win or place a close second in NH. They are having to prove right now that they are viable candidates, that proof isn't really required for Hillary.

What I'm really interested in seeing is what happens when Edwards drops out. How his support breaks will tell us everything that we need to know about who will win the nomination.

Mostly to Obama, IMO.
