problem.
The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt
limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S.
Government can't pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on
ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our
Government's reckless fiscal policies.

This has already been discussed to death here. Making a political point not in a time of crisis =/= anything relevant to now.
 
If you read the full post, you'll see the the Senate resolution to raise the debt limit passed 52 to 48.

Now let's see the tea party in the House severely damage our country and themselves.
