The more you hear about Obama, the more you realize he's just another slimy politician.

i'm not getting this.

The logic is pretty easy. Because McCain has a long and well-deserved reputation as one of the slimiest and most corrupt politicians in the Senate, and they know that can't put any lipstick on this pig in that regard, their agenda is to paint Obama as being just as bad. From there on, I supposed we have to assume then that other issues, besides integrity and the issues, are supposed to be what drives our decision towards McCain.

Well he said he may back it which also means he may not. I would hope he would look at it and give it consideration, I'd sure hate to have another President like Bush who was so fucking stubborn that he'd refuse to consider a different option even if it might be the right thing to do. I mean look what the fuck happened in Irag because President Shit for Brains was to stubborn to listen to reason.

Exactly.

This whole 'flip flop' garbage seems to be just a distraction from Bush's stupid hard-headed management style that puts ego and partisanship ahead of everything else. I expect my elected politicians to serve the people not themselves or their party. Even if that means having to occasionally admit they were wrong and change their position as necessary to meet the interests of the people. The fact that Obama can do that is a big plus in my book, especially as Bush and the Pubs have made doing so an ugly word.

As for McCain's war record, yes, he is a 'war hero.' But sorry, there are lots of war heroes out there and just being one does make him fit for the Presidency all by itself. And if we have to pick a war hero to be our President, there are better war heroes out there IMO.

Democrats makes the best excuses...... no no it's not flip flopping...

And so it wasn't flip-flopping when McCain also did a 180 on the offshore drilling issue just a month ago?

Should I retort in partisan hack like you and say that Republicans have the most conveniently shortest memories?

They are both hacks, you haven't figured that out?

So? What does that have to with you being a hack with a conveniently short memory?

You'll notice that I never called McCain on his flip-flop on this issue until his supporters, like you, starting attacking Obama on his.

So who's making excuses? One could hate both the candidates in this election and you'd still look bad here for worshiping your McMessiah no matter what he does.

I unlike you am critical of both and yet I'm a "partisan hack".

Vic, you should get back on the short bus where you belong and if you want to see a partisan hack just take a look in the mirror.

Who is making excuses... that would be you.

Please link to just one time you made a critical comment of McCain here. The only thing you do here is make bizarre and false comments against Obama and 'commie' Democrats, while defending McCain. For example, it's 'making excuses' for Obama's 'flip-flopping,' but when McCain pulls one of his usual flip-flops, you just conveniently pretend it never happened. And then when some calls you on that startling disconnect, why they must be a hack!

And hey, aren't you the one who said that liberal economics (capitalism) is the same as communism? Oh yeah, you were. 'Short bus' indeed!

When and where? I've seen you plenty critical of Obama but I don't remember a single post by you that is critical of McCain. I must've missed that post. Anyway, your bias against Obama is clear and from what I remember most of your criticisms are the same crap passed around in chain Emails.

I just did a quick search of his posts here on P&N and I did not find a single one that was critical of McCain in even the slightest way. Granted, the search function here sucks, which is why I invited him to search himself if he wants to back his talk.
Personally, I am sick of these rabid McCain supporters pretending to non-partisan. The lie is completely transparent.

Comrade Vic,

In this very thread I said they are both hacks, are the both of you that blind?

I'm not an Obama fan but I also don't care for McCain, you on the other hand are blinded by Obama love.

I've seen a few threads where you are blindly making excuse for his shortcomings...

BTW I was saying that liberals are communists and after reading a few of your posts I see that you support communism.
