Hillary also said it was a mistake. I am not sure what the point of disagreement the OP thinks there is between Obama and her.

Since neither of them is a progressive I don't know why you say this.
It's the talking point du jour apparently. If two people who happen to be left of f'nut right happen to disagree, that leaves everybody who isn't a f'nut rightwinger in some sort of horrible dilemma.

Are yellow carrots true carrots?

And that's what I like about Bernie Sanders; he's forcing her to act like she is, and that pretty much takes her out of her game. ;)

Can't avoid talking about it? Yeah, especially when he's in an interview and is asked about it directly. Oh and Hilary admitted it was a mistake so neither is lying.

OP, are you retarded or just another troll?

Hillary... was a bit... late with the whole admittance of guilt there...

It only took having her hand over the actual server, and recovering emails that she attempted to scrub clean before... she came clean.

Which means, she was dirty the entire time, and she knew it. So don't act like she was miss cute and innocent and didn't know better.

Given I am the OP, and I think that the thread has pretty much run its course, I have a question for which I have no agenda, other than trying to understand.

I have inferred that Clinton and Obama are progressives, because that is my understanding. I believe that some of you posters are as well. I find it fascinating to read you don't consider Clinton to be a progressive or liberal. I use the terms as synonyms by the way and you might not agree. I'm even more surprised that dank69 would also include Obama as well.

Is that because you don't consider them consistent enough with your perception of the left's agenda or just one important issue you have, or is it you don't consider yourselves to be liberals and you do align with one or both of them? I know there is no monolithic answer, but I'm just curious.

I think it is a long shot that I'll get serious answer from most of you, but maybe one of you can enlighten me.

Progressives are a subset of liberals just like neo-cons are a subset of conservatives, so the two terms are not usually interchangeable. Regardless, Obama and Hillary are centrists according to any credible scale like DW-Nominate. I think Sanders is a progressive.

Ha ha. This is rich.
Obama "advising" how to beat Hillary.
I.e. Hillary's mistakes.

And, an article titled MEMO:How to Beat Hillary Clinton.

Well... first of all, turn yourself African American.
And... be the first besides Al Sharpton or Shirley Chisholm or Jesse Jackson.

Wow. If Obama doesn't think his heritage had nothing o do with this, him getting elected, just wow.
I guess he is out of touch with reality after all.
Maybe we SHOULD rethink this TPP trade thing AND that Iran nuclear deal.

Well Hillary. Don't just stand there. Turn into a black woman. :D

I don't find your ignorance on the subject amusing. Troll someone else troll.

Well, thank you for the primer.

I didn't get to watch the Dem's debate last night, but I read that Hillary referred to herself as a progressive. Politicians are constantly trying to position and re-position themselves during the course of a campaign, depending on who's vote they are trying to attract. Though I never heard a politician refer to himself or herself as a Neo-Con.
