If we can have a protest vote nationally and it bear fruit for Trump, I see no reason why it can't happen via CBS News. This latest election cycle is the only reason he's on their list at all, I think we should all be able to agree on that. Reality TV nuts may disagree, but oh well.

Obama, on the other (larger) hand, makes total sense. I disagree with Obama on a number of issues, but after eight years of watching republicans (mostly) reach new lows, of Obama so often being the proverbial 'only adult in the room,' yes, I literally admire his patience. He dealt with unprecedented obstructionism, from Day 1, but found ways to make his term in office an effective treatment to heal the damage he inherited from his predecessor. Plus, he's easily the coolest president we've ever had. Of course people admire him.

Jan. 20th is going to be a day of mourning for sure. The rational adult is handing the keys to a petulant, pompous man child. I'm going to try and stay positive though, my sig makes me hope his token precog ability can be utilized for good once he takes office. ;)

I voted for Obama and by and large think he did a decent job as president. There were issues I certainly disagreed with him on but by and large I think he acted presidential during his term.

My biggest critiques are his fanning the racial flames instead of working to improve relations, not closing gitmo, treatment of the press, continuing Bush policies of spying on Americans, not prosecuting those responsible for the financial crisis, and not working to lower the cost of healthcare (insuring all Americans and having insurance Americans can afford are two separate things). I'm sure there are others but those are off the top of my head.

He was a much better president than Bush though, and even Clinton. His promise of Hope and Change did turn out to be relatively empty though, and not because of Republican obstrutivism.

I don't think it's any great surprise that many genuinely admire trump for saying what needed to be said about them lower class brownies and feeling up women. It's that what their hatred of any political sensitivity is all about?

"Rounding out the list for the most admired woman were German Chancellor Angela Merkel, talk show host Oprah Winfrey, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, Queen Elizabeth, activist Malala Yousafzai, former secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and former Gov. Sarah Palin."

I'm sure he's proud.

With the upcoming shit-show that starts on Jan 20th, Barack Obama may very well be the most admired man of 2017 as well. He has been the epitome of dignity, class, and competence in the Oval Office. History will remember him much more fondly than our short-sighted electorate does right now.

Yeah sure was... The Republicans.
And now we have Obama leaving in just a few weeks while Mitch McConnell will still be there rattling around the halls of government.
WTF?
Go figure.....

I'll bet gun ranges across the backwoods of the south have his face on their targets. Rural people are quite passionate about their dislike for certain people.

Obama is the greatest Democratic President in the 21st century! He's awesome and I personally thank him for the destruction of the Democratic Party during his tenure.
