Well, let's see....Bush, Cheney and Hillary Clinton are all Methodists. Ahahahaha! The kinds of conclusions that can be drawn from that fact makes Pres. Obama's religious affiliation seem like plain vanilla and outright boring, yet, here it is in this thread whereby the fact that Pres. Obama being an admitted Christian is something he's supposed to be lying about and taken to task for.

Whatever Pres. Obama's religious beliefs are is something that only he and God knows about with certainty. But I'll take his word over Bush's "God told me to invade Iraq" speil any time. And how one would reconcile the terrible things that Cheney has said and done with his stated claim of being a Christian. What a joke that is. And Episcopalian Karl Rove's middle name is "Christian" fer cry'in out loud. For all the evil and vile things he's done and is doing, he makes a total mockery of his religious affiliation.

Puh-leeze.....*yawn*

Personally I believe Obama is a Atheist or Agnostic, and the religion BS is all for show and to get votes. He just doesnt walk the walk for being a Christian. The last time he was in Church was half a year ago.

Obama as a Muslim though ? Thats even more absurd. He comes across as a Atheist more than anything.

And being a Atheist and calling yourself a Christian is not a bad thing. Politically he knows he needs the Bible belt vote to get elected so if saying he is a Christian nets him that vote then so be it. As a Atheist calling yourself a Christian to get some free votes is easy to do.

Wow.. you are hitting all of the talking joints.. 8 years of GOP, Sarah Palin, Christine ODonnel, Reagan, Fox News... Wow.. just throw a Bush or Cheney in there and you might have a job in this Administration.

I see the cloaking device you have running above your shoulders is not allowing the main point in...

Why is any politicians religion an issue? Some people are so dense they think atheists are incapable of holding public office. Well probably the majority of the GOP.

Why is it an issue? Because the left CONSTANTLY makes religion an issue. They constantly belittle people who are religious as anti-science backwards idiots. Its interesting that they don't make the same claim against Obama, Pelosi, and other Democrats who are blatant HYPOCRITES in claiming they are Christian/Muslim/Jewish and vote against their religion every chance they can get.

Another one of those bald face lies (I mean Breaking News). The right gets criticized for being anti-science because they're anti-science. Most intelligent people have a problem with "why monkeys are not evolving" in front of our eyes. Allowing IVF but being against fetal stem cell research since the unused fertilized eggs in both cases are destroyed.

I don't have a problem with asking God for guidence but don't sit there and tell me God told you to start a war.

The right isn't all anti-science. They cite biology when they want to to prove why the white man is superior to the black man.
