Obama: How do I get into these speech events?

So alright, I'm on his little mailing list. I get this email to "RSVP Now!" -- I RSVP, but then it says on the bottom that I need a ticket to get in. There is no where on the websites provided or via general searching where I have seen these tickets. Has anyone ever been to one of his speeches, what exactly did you do to ensure your chance of going?

Last week Obama gave the speech down the road, I had college and could not attend. But the night before, the news was talking about the event being "sold out" or "out of tickets"... I'm afraid that for his speech tomorrow, even though I "RSVP'd" I never got a ticket, the event could "sell out" again and I'll make the trip for nothing..

We'll be at the Lion King Saturday night and I'm worried it will be crazy finding somewhere to park.

if you stand outside and the media reports "4000 people were outside and couldn't get in" , then the trip won't be "for nothing" , it still shows your support/helps his campaign
