I said someone who can tell a joke, not a clown who can charm people like some stumbling toddler. Reagan's delivery was just as bad as these guys. Jay Leno would be a good choice, but he's too smart to run for the office. Don Rickles is dead, but I'm sure he'd be very popular with the right wing.

Don Rickles isn't dead........

Ended stagflation - double digit inflation combined with near double digit unmeployment. Doubled federal tax revenue in 8 years. Brought down the Soviet Union. Greatest economic growth decade since the indutrial revolution.

Yep, that was big joke.

Reaping the previous administration's good works and setting up his successor for a tax raise? Raised the National Debt by how much? Upped the Social Security collection and then passed a tax cut for the rich. Can you say robbing poor Peter to pay rich Paul?

hmm his joke telling ability sucks. While the attempt was funny it did not change how i feel about either guy. it was in good fun.

Who can forget the classic 'looking under tables for the missing WMD' - while lives were being lost in Iraq...

\yeah, that was a real fuckin' knee-slapper....

I'm sure spidey can come up with a cogent argument as to why GWB was being presidential in that instance.

I'm not a fan of Trump. However I thought that Obama stooped to an even lower rung on the ladder. Stupid jokes that were not funny at all. How is it a good thing for the president to poorly attempt to be a comedian.

Just stoopid.

The Correspondents' Dinner has become the exclamation point on a poorly written sentence.

Well I guess you and Donald agree about that. Almost everyone else in the room seemed to think that joke was funny.

'He's running as Republican? I thought he was running as a joke.'

What an amateurish joke. About a funny as SNL has been in recent years. Seth Meyers, one of the least funny of the unfunny casts of SNL of the last 10 years. He's terrible as the news anchor. He'll be quickly forgotten after his stint on SNL is over.

Mr Obama made fun of the birthers, a star of a reality tv show, and himself. He ended his speech with thanking US's military and saying that the country should remember the people who were devastated by the tornados.

The dinner permits for jokes. Obama's jokes were funny...could have used a better delivery. The whole birther issue only hurts Republicans, even if some or most believed Obama was a citizen of the US all along.

That's his job. If he shows the slightest bit of humility and ability to laugh at himself its the end of his career. Imagine a pro wrestler cracking up at some insult his opponent lobes at him.

Funny, because one of the character traits I value most in a person is humility.
