Oh man, I'm in tears over here. Obama isn't the best at delivering jokes, but it was still quite hilarious.

I know he's taken some flack lately, but no one is prouder to put this birth certificate issue to rest than Donald, and that's because he can get back to the issues that matter, like, did we fake the moon landing? What really happened in Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?

He then showed a mock-up of Trump's version of the White House, which featured a neon hot pink sign and bikini-clad girls out front.

Actual video clip of Obama "going rogue":

I know these dinners are meant to be in good fun, but he pretty much showed what a sideshow Trump is :)

Funny how things become so much clearer when put into the proper perspective eh?

re: Trump's renovated White House, as I mentioned a few weeks back, it should be at least 150 stories tall, along with his signage.

Any links for re-views?

The quote you posted is hilarious.

Well, the actual clip is in the OP, but here are some more stories on it:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/30/white-house-correspondents-dinner-2011_n_855926.html

Obama also took a jab at Trump's plans to run for presidency in 2012. "We all know about your credentials," he snarked. He brought up Trump's decision to fire Gary Busey in a recent episode of Celebrity Apprentice, joking, "These the kinds of decisions that would keep me up at night. Well handled, sir. Well handled."

HAHAHA!

I'm sure Obama deserved his Nobel Prize.

History will be a far better judge of that - however, in the present - how fun it's been that the long form birth certificate has been shoved up your, and other birthers, stupid asses...

Oh and as for the jokes, Obama sure has a good team of writers to create them for him :p

His delivery sucked, while Trump's jokes are lame and his delivery isn't much better. We need to elect presidents who an tell jokes with the best of them or we'll become the laughing stock of the world.

which begs me to ask, why all the BS about getting it released? If it were me in this situation, I would have had some intern handle the press release long ago. I would have down played it long before it came to what we see now.

Say what you will, some loud mouth nobody (trump) got the most powerful man in the world to submit to his demands.... and now all you are all proud and lauging that it was "shoved up [their] stupid asses". This only demonstrates Obama's lack of strength IMHO.

Ended stagflation - double digit inflation combined with near double digit unmeployment. Doubled federal tax revenue in 8 years. Brought down the Soviet Union. Greatest economic growth decade since the indutrial revolution.

Yep, that was big joke.

Stagflation was ended by Volcker, who was brought in by Carter and was unfettered by Carter. Reagan didn't like him but the results spoke for themselves and Reagan didn't want to block his appointment because of it.

Tax revenue was a bunch of variables, not the least of which capital gains increases from M&A LBOs and such.

He didn't bring down the USSR, the USSR brought down the USSR, he might have hastened it a bit but they were rotting internally, as can be seen from the decrepit infrastructure of West Germany, Poland, among others, before, during and after the fall.

Don't forget that he was the first cut-tax/spend/debt President and presided over the first uber-increase in the debt and the stupidity of Reaganomics.

This is why Reagan is seen as some type of hero, people like you revise history to fit your hero worship instead of being far more realistic.

Yep, that was big joke.

More scandal, prosecutions, and convictions of the executive branch than any other time in history.

Also, it was a normal economic cycle. The claimed results would have happened if nothing was done. ( Much like today )

Seth Meyers also had a few good ones on Trump:

"Donald Trump has said he's running for president as a Republican--which is surprising because I thought he was running as a joke."

The Donald did not look amused in the reaction shot. :p

Correct on Reagan and Volcker - but remember it was Reagan who then replaced the very good Volcker with the disastrous Alan Greenspan.

I said someone who can tell a joke, not a clown who can charm people like some stumbling toddler. Reagan's delivery was just as bad as these guys. Jay Leno would be a good choice, but he's too smart to run for the office. Don Rickles is dead, but I'm sure he'd be very popular with the right wing.

That's his job. If he shows the slightest bit of humility and ability to laugh at himself its the end of his career. Imagine a pro wrestler cracking up at some insult his opponent lobes at him.

Because it wasn't funny and either is Seth Meyers.
