Huh? I watched the video and it's completely normal. It's just bizarre how people want to try to create tension in these ceremonies where there are none. Nobody's dissing anyone. Just because they're not having sex doesn't mean they hate each other people. Get a grip.

It's interesting how you have to keep telling yourself and everyone that the US has a special relationship with the UK. The US tells the UK that it has a special relationship primarily for the UK's psychological benefit (wasn't this covered in Wikileaks, too?). They isolated themselves with mainland Europe and other countries, choosing to attach itself to the United States and now the US has been neglecting it. The abandonment of Europe for other regions of the world is a common element in many news stories covering this event.

If the US has a true special relationship with the UK, it wouldn't need to explicitly validate it.

He's likely doing this because we have been engaged in activities involving the Europeans, such as Libya. He has never terminated relations with them. The previous few years have been marked by a decline in attention. There is also an upcoming election and a segment of the population whose votes he needs.

I understand that this might be troubling for your dream of a powerful white utopia.
