Many states have already begun allowing people to cast their ballots, and the Obama campaign has made it a priority to notify the electorate to vote early.

Well, their drive to get voters to vote early/absentee is working heavily in their favor.

Results from five states that are allowing people to vote early are in, and Obama has pulled ahead amongst these voters by an average of 23 points.

As far as I am concerned, there is nothing wrong with early voting, but the results from early voting should be kept sealed until after the polls close on NOV 4.

I was reading last week that in upstate New York they mailed out a bunch of absentee ballots with Obama misspelled Osama, ooopppsss. An honest mistake I'm sure :disgust:

Anyways, I'm wondering what if any effect snafu's like that have on early voters.

I thought it WAS illegal to let people know the results first. That's why exit-polling is called polling and not pre-certified results. Isn't that the case? Is it diff with absentee?

Obama needs all the pre-debate votes he can be because McCain is going to whup his ass SILLY tonight. Believe me!!11!!!1!

These are not actual results. These are polling statistics from states that allow early voting.
