Do you mean tough questions like, 'What does a VP do'? Right. Sorry but being asked to provide examples of repeated talking points like her and McCain being mavericks and reformers are not tough questions and if she didn't want to discuss them she shouldn't include them in her stump speeches.

I seem to remember Palin getting a REALLY hard time from everyone here when she basically did the same thing, and I'm sure most here will try to divert this thread into another "But Palin did..." thread.

You mentioned Palin in your OP so it's not a diversion. Anyway, Biden not doing any more interviews with a particular TV station is different than Palin not doing interviews. If you can't see the difference I don't know what to tell you.

You're right about her having an agenda:

On October 23, 2008, news anchor Barbara West, interviewed Joe Biden, VP Democratic candidate for the United States Presidency asking questions about Obama's affiliation with ACORN and Voter Registration fraud, comparing Obama's response to an earlier question from Ohio voter "Joe the plumber" to a quote from Karl Marx, and suggesting that Obama wants to turn the U.S. "into a socialist country much like Sweden."

The Obama campaign responded by canceling a subsequent interview with the candidate's wife, Jill Biden. The campaign's official statement was, "This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election" [5]

Barbara West is married to Republican strategist Wade West.[6] Wade West is "a popular consultant for political candidates ranging from local elections, to more than 85 members of Congress and members of the President?s cabinet."[7] In addition, West has made multiple campaign contributions to the Republican Party.[8]

Who da thunk it?

Because the station is clearly Anti-American.

In fact the airwaves are supposed to be property of the American public.

When a station acts in an interest to the detriment of the country we should be able to reclaim that frequency immediately from the offending management and staff.

If you have any doubts as to which side Barbara West is batting for, watch this:

Why am I not surprised? She seems to take the Republican talking points as the basis for every question.

She is worse than that, McCain never called Obama a communist like this reporter tried to do. This interview was ridiculous, it is as if Katie Couric had asked Palin if McCain was a fascist bloodthirsty murderer who liked the taste of Iraqi babies.

Hopefully her and the rest of those like her leave this country should Obama be elected.

It's sick and Anti-American.

Orlandans and Americans should demand these people be fired immediately and take our airwaves back from these America haters.

Tough questions are one thing, loaded questions are entirely another, which is what Biden was subjected to in the interview. No point in going back for more.

When did you quit beating your wife?

Why don't you quit smoking crack?

When will you admit you're a sekrit mooslim marxist who hates America?

The rightwing is pushing their koolaid pretty desperately, but few are drinking it... guess that just means there's more for those who like it, right?

No so much desperation as it is paranoid psychosis =)

I say that jokingly, but on a serious note - I really do think BB has some paranoia issues that he needs to work out.

I thought Biden did real well. Very well. I don't blame him for being annoyed. Just how many more names and lowlife comparisons are the rightwing blowhards going to try and make against Obama. Now he's marxist, give me a break.

"The necessaries of life occasion the great expense of the poor. They find it difficult to get food, and the greater part of their little revenue is spent in getting it. The luxuries and vanities of life occasion the principal expense of the rich, and a magnificent house embellishes and sets off to the best advantage all the other luxuries and vanities which they possess. A tax upon house-rents, therefore, would in general fall heaviest upon the rich; and in this sort of inequality there would not, perhaps, be anything very unreasonable. It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion."

Adam Smith is a Marxist! Who is this Marxist troublemaker and why is his hand invisible? :p

Palin was asked what newspapers she read and Biden was quoted Karl Marx and asked if he was a socialist...Yeah, compareable.

Palin couldn't answer. Biden answered the ridiculousness professionally and intelligently.

Corbett, we can't take you seriously when you post something that is as preposterous as this and try to dress it up as the same. It is laughable and disingenuous in the extreme.
